MASTER OF THE REVELS tells the story of Tom Carter, a good looking, quiet man in his early forties, who recently lost his lover of ten years. At the urging of a friend, he attends the monthly “revels” at an infamous local leather bar called The Room, where he unexpectedly overthrows the reigning Master of the Revels. According to the rules, Tom is now Master of the Revels and a very reluctant Master at that. That same night, Tom meets Bill, a very hot and handsome leather man who helps Tom adjust to his new role. Tom and Bill quickly fall for one another. However, old boyfriends and the notoriety that comes with being Master of the Revels throw a number of hurdles in their way. Tom finds that he is now the object of desire for many of the men in town, as well as a target for hatred and violence. As time progresses, Tom finds that being Master of the Revels isn’t what he wants, but stepping down means that he has to submit himself to the next Master of the Revels, something that Tom approaches with trepidation.
