Eating Sushi

Sushi

Okay, yesterday I went to dinner with a large group of friends at the sushi restaurant at the Gaylord Resort in Orlando.  I have to tell you that I am not a fish person in any way and this menu was very limited.  So last night I actually had my first taste of sushi. I have to say that it was okay.  I doubt I’m ever going to become a lover of sushi, but I have to say that it was pretty good.  I only had shrimp based sushi, but it was quite good.

Dominic has always said that I’m a fussy eater and I cannot disagree with him, but last night he was very proud of me for being willing to broaden my food horizons.  So I’m blogging to celebrate my accomplishment.  🙂

i can’t believe that as many places you’ve been and as many different things you have tried, this was your first taste of sushi. Maybe someday I’ll build up the nerve to try it too.

Bonnie, I agree with you. One day I will get the nerve to try it, but it surprises me that Andrew has never tried it. 🙂

You should be proud. I absolutely love sushi but it did take me awhile to get used to it. Maybe you should have your characters eat sushi based on your experience,

Go you! Fish is not my thing either (I’m from Michigan too) so I understand your pain! Thank you for sharing your thoughts

I love sushi in all its forms, tho eel is not my favorite. My DH can’t stand it. Both daughters and SILs as well as 6 yr old grandson are also fond of it. When it’s really fresh it’s like butter!
