For the last two weeks Dominic and I have bene on vacation and at Euro Pride Con in Germany. Our trip ends in a few days. But I thought I’d show you pictures of some of the highlights. The Romanesque church in Hildesheim The Reichstag in Berlin with its glass dome A chapel with butt water spouts The train station as we left Berlin. Dominic and I together. After all that’s what vacation is all about.
I’ve decided to end the Senses series of stories. Love Comes to Light, releasing March 18, will be the final story in this series. It was a tough decision, but I decided it was best to bring the series to a close while it was still fresh and the characters interesting. I didn’t want the quality of the work to suffer. I can tell you that in Love Comes to Light you will see both Patrick and Ken once again. While they are not the main characters, they are integral and important secondary characters to the story. You’ll also meet some … Continued
The next installment in the Carlisle Cops series is releasing in exactly a week. I really think you are going to love this story. It tugged at my heart as I was writing it. In celebration of the upcoming release, I thought I would offer you a sneak peek. Enjoy Since the death of their mother, Josten Applewhite has done what he’s had to do to take care of his little brother and keep their small family together. But in an instant, a stroke of bad luck tears down what little home he’s managed to build, and Joss and Isaac … Continued
Its a week before Christmas and the preparations are coming together. I have my shopping done, except for one single gift. I have nothing for Dominic. Now before you gasp in horror, this is nothing new. Dominic is the hardest person on earth to buy for. He has everything. The kitchen is full to the point where he has to get rid of something if he wants something new. He has closets full of clothes because he wears everything until it wears out. (Dominic is still wearing shirts that he had when I met him, decades ago. And every time … Continued
Hello all. I’m at GRL and I did my first Word of the Day of the conference. Yesterday I was going to dinner with Amber Kell and J Scott and we talked about words for wasting time. So I did a word of the day with mine. I really hope you like it and I hope to do more words of the day while I’m here with some guest worders. Enjoy!!!!!
In the last week, I have travelled a lot. The flight from Munich was long and I got to spend only part of a day with Dominic before heading to Baltimore to catch my flight to Tampa. You all know that I love Dominic. He’s the center of my life, but I am learning something with all this travel that I didn’t expect. I need Dominic to keep me sane and from splitting into lots of little pieces. At these conventions I am not alone and I am with people I care about and who take good care of me. … Continued
Almost a week ago we got a bad storm and it knocked down the top of one of the trees between the sidewalk and the street. I actually had a call into a tree service to come out to take a look at it, but mother nature had other ideas. The crown of the tree broke of and landed on top of my car. Needless to say my poor Mustang convertible went to car heaven. The fire department came in and cleared away the tree and branches. I called a towing company and they cleared away the car. Everything was going smoothly. … Continued

Marty is the cover model for Backward and I asked him to write a few thoughts on being a cover model. He is a great guy and takes one heck of a photograph!!!! Last summer I was contacted by my good friend Jesse Jackman. He mentioned that he had recommended me for a book cover and that he and Dirk had done ones as well. He showed me theirs and I was floored! Such great imagery and the photographer really captured them well. Being a fan of both of them as well as close friends I was touched by their … Continued
Yesterday I did a winter blog post with The Blogger Girls. They were gracious enough to host me on their blog. “I used to remember at eight years old, laying in my bed listening to the wind. I’d get out and pad across the cool floor in my bare feet and flannel pajamas with cowboys on them so I could look out my bedroom window and watch the snow as it came down. More than once my mom scolded me to get back into bed. The power was out and we didn’t have any heat, so if I didn’t get … Continued
