Alot Happens Between Loathing and Love

When I started writing this story I didn’t know exactly what I was getting myself in for.  I asked myself what would happen if the person who quashed my high school dreams came into my life later in life and I had the power to make their dreams come true.  Would I use that power for good or for evil?  If it was in the course of my job, would I stand up and do my job, or take the weasel way out?  These were all things I got to explore with his book and I’d like to think I’m … Continued

The Convention Odyssey

I have been traveling for most of the week.  On Monday I was in Philadelphia staying with friends.  Tuesday I caught my flight to Munich and landed on Wednesday and spent much of the day and night dealing with jet lag.  Thursday I had arranged a tour of the castles Linderhoff and Neuschwanstein.  They were beautiful.  I have seen both of them before, but it was even better this time. The tickets were timed so there was no waiting in tons of lines.  I was with Elizabeth and Lynn from Dreamspinner.  There are some things you have to know.  The … Continued

Sneak Peek – Fire and Rain

This morning I thought I’d give you all I little peek into what I’m working on.  I started Fire and Rain four days ago and it is already about a quarter completed.  I think this is going to be one of those stories with a life of its own and I just need to hold on for the ride.  I only hope my heart can take it.   “They’re already full,” the man said, though he sounded like a kid.  “We got turned away from there a few hours ago.” Bonner’s suspicion rose.  We?  What exactly was going on under … Continued

Dirk Caber – On Being A Cover Model

Today we have a special guest on the blog.  Dirk Caber talks about being a cover model.  I for one am very grateful to him for agreeing to grace the cover of Upside Down.  He was easy to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed it.   My partner Jesse was so delighted to be approached to be the cover model for the first novel, Inside Out, and I know he was just thrilled when he found out Andrew was hoping I might be on the cover if Upside Down.  Me, I’m an artist by day anyway, a musician and actor, … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – Our First Date

I have to start this section off with a little bit about myself in order for it to make sense.  See I’m lactose intolerant.  Like Leonard form my favorite television show, feed me ice cream and I can rocket to the moon.  So anyway, after our initial dinner party meeting, Dominic waited a few days to call me.  (He told me later he didn’t want to look desperate by calling too soon.)  He suggested we go out for desert.  At the time Dominic wasn’t driving, so I met him at his apartment.  I was expecting that he’d made something for … Continued

Excerpt of Stuck In Oz

When Jeremy and Petey’s mother died, their house was taken to pay the debts she left behind, leaving them homeless. Afraid Petey will be put in foster care, they have no one to turn to but their Uncle Milt, so they pack up Jeremy’s beat-up car and leave San Diego for Wamego, Kansas. They arrive in the middle of a snowstorm and stop at the local diner to contact their uncle, where they meet Nate. Nate and his aunt help them contact Uncle Milt, and he agrees to help. Jeremy and Nate hit it off quickly, but Jeremy runs … Continued

A Courageous Ride – Great Reviews

My recent release A Courageous Ride has been betting amazing reviews.  I’m so thrilled that readers and reviewers are enjoying the story.    There is nothing better than when a reader loves a book.  I hope you’ll take a look at the story and if you choose to read it, I hope you love it.   5 Stars from Multitaskingmama – There are two things here that I really liked about this story: the ability of the author to express Marshall’s feelings for Indigo into music and the solid relationship between the two men despite their short time … Continued
