Fire and Snow – A Little Background

In Carlisle there are always people who hang around the square in the center of town.  Some of them in groups and others alone, always sitting in the same space.  I think of them as the lost ones.  They don’t seem to have anything else to do and some of them seem to lonely and blank, like the world has passed them by and no one ever sees them.  So with Fire and Snow, I let me imagination work and decided to write one of their stories.     Blurb Fisher Moreland has been cast out of his family because … Continued

Its Time for Holiday Stories

I write a story for Christmas each year and this year is no exception.   I did write a story for the holidays, except this year my idea better fit Dirk than me, so An Assassin’s Holiday is being published under Dirk Greyson.  This is different than most holiday stories, but its fun, sexy, and it definitely has a happy ending.  I really hope you enjoy it.  If you want a copy, they will be available starting December 1, and if you purchased the DSP Advent Calendar, you will get it as part of the package.  I hope you have a … Continued

A Potential Sticky Situation

Eyes Only For Me is the result of some out of the ordinary feelings that I have had for a close friend.  I think I need to start this post by saying that I never came close to acting on these feelings because Dominic is so dear to me.  And I never would.  Dominic is the center of my life and I would never jeopardize that for anything.  But I was spending a lot of time at the gym and then afterwards at dinner and breakfast with him.  I should probably tell you that this guy is handsome, like … Continued

My Conference Odyssey – Close to the End

Hello from wonderful, energetic New York City.  I am nearing the end of my three week conference odyssey that started about three weeks ago in Munich.  I am at the RWA National Conference.  The previous conferences in Munich and Tampa were reader conventions.  This one is most definitely centered on craft.  I have met some amazing authors. I set next to Amelia Grey and near Patience Griffith at the literacy signing.  I got a signed book for my mother form Robyn Carr.  I have attended workshops on building sexual tension and writing Killer Romantic Suspense.  It’s been really awesome.  I’ve … Continued

Fire and Water – My Thoughts on Release Day!!!

Today is the release day for Fire and Water.   Dominic came in this morning to say goodbye before he left for work and I could barely sit still on the sofa I’m so excited.  This is a story that really touched my heart.   I was the oldest growing up with a younger brother and sister.  I heard over and over how I was the smart one and they were the ones with the looks.  It hurt.  Of course my peers reinforced that view.  Anyway, I don’t want  this post to be a downer and the point is that in Fire … Continued

Trapped In Oz – An Excerpt

Trapped in Oz is the final story in this novella series.  I have thought long and hard and in the future I plan to concentrate my writing efforts on the novel length work.  They give me more time and space to explore my characters and for you to fall in love with them.  So with the exception of holiday and daily dose titles, this is my last novella.  I really hope you enjoy it.  There are plenty of stories already in the works and I’m working on more!     Martin Long has plans and dreams, but they are derailed … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – The First Thanksgiving

After the proposal, Dominic and I decided that we wanted our families to meet.  So we invited both sets of parents for Thanksgiving dinner.  Dominic was going to cook at his small house.  It was going to be just the six of us. Dominic spent hours getting the turkey ready and making a very traditional dinner.  It was lovely.  The one thing he hadn’t done up to that point was tell his parents about the engagement and what our plans were.  His plan had been to tell them when he saw them at Thanksgiving.  So like a good fiancé, when … Continued
