With the release of Upside Down just a few hours away, I thought I would give you a brief sneak peek.  I really hope you like it.  I chose the moment Spook and Jeremy meet. Enjoy!   Lowell Cartwright’s life as a mercenary problem solver has taken its toll, and after one more difficult job, he wants out. For help, he turns to Bull, a soldier of fortune turned club owner—not exactly a friend, but the best chance Lowell has. He visits Bull’s club to scope it out and meets Jeremy Hodgson. The twink captures his attention in a big way. … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – The Proposal

Dominic and I dated throughout the spring and summer.  I met his friends and he met mine.  In October it was a glorious day, warm for the month and we decided to take a walk.  Dominic had just bought a home on the south side of Milwaukee and I helped him with the improvements.  One of our favorite places to walk was Lake Park.  So we drove and parked at one and walked all the way through, over the bridges and along the rambling path.  Lake Park was designed by the same man who did Central Park in New York … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – Meeting the Parents

I have to start by saying that I did not have much experience with serious boyfriends before meeting Dominic.  He and I met in February and I had agreed to take Dominic to his parents for Easter since he didn’t drive.  This was to be the first time meeting is very Catholic parents.  I will confess to being a little nervous. The drive from Milwaukee where he and I were living to Green Bay was a little nerve racking.  Dominic of course said all the usual things.  When we arrived, his mom and dad came out to greet us and they … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – When I Knew I Was in Love

After Dominic and I spent out first night together, I had to leave on a business trip.  The following morning, I packed and got on a plane to Mexico City.  It was a very busy week.  At the time I was working for a retailer and we were opening a store in the central city.  By the time I got on the plane for the return trip, I was so happy to be coming home, I can’t describe it.  Dominic and I had a date night scheduled for the Friday after I got home and we had a very nice … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – Our First Night Together

After the liver dinner, the other guests left and Dominic and I ended up talking until the wee hours of the morning.  We talked about everything, except liver.  I did tell him about my dairy problem and poor Dominic was appalled.  I felt so bad because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings.   The dinner, other than the liver part, had been one of the best means I’d ever had.  I’d just had to eat very little of it. Anyway, I’d like to say that one thing led to another, or that things got very romantic.  But basically I began … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – Dominic Cooks for Me

A few days after our first date, Dominic called to invite me to his apartment for a dinner party.  He wanted to reciprocate to the people who had had us over.  (The matchmakers)  I thought it wonderful.  I was asked to arrive early which I thought was sweet and we talked while he continued cooking.  The table was set beautifully for four in his small dining room.  And he nervously made sure everything was perfect. The other guests arrived and Dominic indicated that dinner was ready.  As soon as we sat down I knew I was in trouble.  The … Continued

Andrew and Dominic – Our Story – Our First Date

I have to start this section off with a little bit about myself in order for it to make sense.  See I’m lactose intolerant.  Like Leonard form my favorite television show, feed me ice cream and I can rocket to the moon.  So anyway, after our initial dinner party meeting, Dominic waited a few days to call me.  (He told me later he didn’t want to look desperate by calling too soon.)  He suggested we go out for desert.  At the time Dominic wasn’t driving, so I met him at his apartment.  I was expecting that he’d made something for … Continued

A Courageous Ride – Great Reviews

My recent release A Courageous Ride has been betting amazing reviews.  I’m so thrilled that readers and reviewers are enjoying the story.    There is nothing better than when a reader loves a book.  I hope you’ll take a look at the story and if you choose to read it, I hope you love it.   5 Stars from Multitaskingmama – There are two things here that I really liked about this story: the ability of the author to express Marshall’s feelings for Indigo into music and the solid relationship between the two men despite their short time … Continued

The Story Behind Love Comes Home

Love Comes Home started when sports reporters were talking about baseball.  I rarely listen to baseball, but I was on an extended trip and had NPR on the car’s satellite radio.  Of course NPR has a sports reporter who was doing a color story around baseball.  But being NPR, he chose something different.  That was the day I heard about Beepball for the first time.  They were at a game and mostly it sounded like any other baseball game, coaches giving instruction, parents yelling encouragement.  Then it got silent and all that came through was a moving beeping sound.  As … Continued
